Initiatives of Change - international NGO
In November 2005, global tolerance handled the PR for the international organisation Initiatives of Change for the visit to the UK by Rajmohan Gandhi, the grandson of Mahatma Gandhi. The global tolerance campaign for the visit, 12-28 November 2005, reached over 150,000,000 people. Some of the key media coverage global tolerance secured included:Radio 2 with Jeremy Vine, Sunday Times, Today on Radio 4, Live with Alistair Stewart on ITV News, Scotsman, BBC World Service, Simon Mayo on Five Live, BBC Scotland. We also secured coverage in numerous other local, national and international media.
We were hugely impressed by the thoroughness, professionalism, sensitivity and flexibility of global tolerance. The effectiveness of global tolerance's work is evidenced by the volume of media request for interviews far exceeding what Professor Gandhi's schedule allowed. global tolerance's commitment to the project was also amply demonstrated in the fact that the time spent on the project far exceeded the number of hours remunerated by the contract. We warmly commend and recommend global tolerance.
